A fleet of hostile forces has assembled around your vessel. But this fleet is unlike any you’ve encountered. Flying saucers fire missiles and mines as they rush at you. Ships launch torpedoes. Line up your crosshair sight and shoot back! At the lowest altitude, your Subroc vessel fires torpedoes at the cruisers and drones. Raise your sight and unleash missiles at the flying attackers. Shift left end right to avoid enemy fire. Just when you think you’ve got control, the deadly command plane attacks!
Port of Sega's arcade game released in July 1982.
Subroc was adapted for ColecoVision, with simulated 3-D effects, by Arnold Hendrick and Philip Taterczynski of the Coleco game design staff, with programming by David Wesely of 4D Interactive Systems.
Super Subroc was to be released for the Super Game Module. But as this module was canceled, the game was ported to the Adam Computer.
Team Pixelboy published a cartridge version of Subroc Super Game. As it requires extra RAM, you need Opcode’s SGM to play it on the ColecoVision.
